WEST BENGAL COLLEGE SERVICE COMMISSION -ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ,LIBRARIANS JOBS 2013

The Government of West Bengal  has nominated the West Bengal College Service Commission as the “State Agency“ for holding  the State Eligibility Test (SET) for Lectureship in Universities and Colleges of  the state.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as are declared eligible by Govt. of India for recruitment to the following posts.

I. Assistant Professor  -  in various subjects in different Government-aided Colleges (both General degree Colleges and Teachers’ Training Colleges) in West Bengal.

Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100/- + AGP Rs.6000/-

II. Librarians - in the above mentioned types of Colleges.

No. of Posts : 91 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100/- + AGP Rs.6000/-

Note : The minimum eligibility conditions contained in this advertisement are governed by the provisions of the West Bengal Government Memorandum Nos. 856 & 857 – Edn (CS) 8R-1/10 dated 13.12.2012. The Commission, however, can introduce additional parameters in order to select candidates of higher merit, as laid down in the above-mentioned Regulation.

Reservation % for the above Posts : SC – 22% ; SC – 06% ; OBC/A – 10% ; OBC/B – 06% ; PH – 03%

Age Limit : 37 years as on 01 – 01 – 2012 (Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)

Application fee : Rs.1000/- for General Candidates (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH/VH/OBC Candidates) Excluding bank Charges.- Applicants will receive, after successful registration, a bank Challan (with their name and registration number pre-printed). They should deposit the application fee in any branch of United Bank of India.
