The Government of West Bengal  has nominated the West Bengal College Service Commission as the “State Agency“ for holding  the State Eligibility Test (SET) for Lectureship in Universities and Colleges of  the state.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as are declared eligible by Govt. of India for recruitment to the following posts.

I. Assistant Professor  -  in various subjects in different Government-aided Colleges (both General degree Colleges and Teachers’ Training Colleges) in West Bengal.

Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100/- + AGP Rs.6000/-

II. Librarians - in the above mentioned types of Colleges.

Note : The minimum eligibility conditions contained in this advertisement are governed by the provisions of the West Bengal Government Memorandum Nos. 856 & 857 – Edn (CS) 8R-1/10 dated 13.12.2012. The Commission, however, can introduce additional parameters in order to select candidates of higher merit, as laid down in the above-mentioned Regulation.
