ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

Three years Diploma or Equivalent m trie relevant Discipline duly approved by A1CTE.

CHEMICAL, METTAL-URGY, CLOTHING TECHNOLOGY LEATHER TECHNOLOGY

Three years Diploma or Equivalent m the relevant Discipline duly approved by AICTE OR BSc degree with General Chemistry as one of the major subject.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Must pass "A" level competency certificate course or equivalent qualification in Computer Science duly recognized by the Govt of India.

NON TECHNICAL (STORES) NON TECHNICAL (OTHER THAN STORES)

A Graduate Degree in Engineering / Technical Humanities/Science/ Commerce / Law etc. from a recognized University.

Selection Process: Written Test (NO Interview / Personal Tests)

Application Fee: Rs.100/- through bank remittance only in favour of Sr.Principal Director, National Academy of Defence Production, Amba-Jhari.” No fee for SC/ST, Women, PWD candidates.

Apprentices under the Apprentices Act in the following categories :-
1)  TECHNICIAN  (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES :- 
 Period of Training:  1 Year
Qualification : Diploma Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil,
Instrumentation, Chemical and Computer
Eligibility : A Pass in Diploma, should not have completed more
than 3 years after passing Diploma as on 01-04-2013
Age limit for Diploma Engineering is 23 years as on 01-04-2013.

2)  TRADE APPRENTICES :- 
a) Attendant Operator-Chemical Plant (AOCP)  
Period of Training:  1 ½ Year
Qualification : B.Sc. Chemistry Main -  Physics & Maths subsidiary
b) Instrument Mechanic-Chemical Plant (IMCP)
 Period of Training:  1 ½ Year
Qualification : B.Sc. Physics Main -   Chemistry & Maths  subsidiary.
Age limit for AOCP & IMCP  is 25 years as on 01-04-2013.

3)  TRADE APPRENTICES :- 
Period of Training:  1 Year (All Trades except Plumber Trade. Period of
Training for Plumber Trade is 2 years).
Qualification : ITI Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist, Welder,
Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Motor
Vehicle,  COPA,  Plumber.
Eligibility : A Pass in the relevant ITI / ITC Trade  Age limit for the above Trade Apprentice is 23 years
as on 01.04.2013.

4)  TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICES 
(1) Accountancy and Auditing (2) Office Secretaryship (3) Civil
Construction and Maintenance.
 Period of Training: 1 Year
Qualification : A Pass in VHSE Examination in the above Trades.
Eligibility : Should not have completed more than 3 years after
passing   the Trade as on 01-04-2013
Age limit for Technician (Vocational) is 23 years as on 01-04-2013
