Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Bhopal, one of the Manufacturing Units of BHEL, a Maharatna Company. BHEL Bhopal company requires Madhya Pradesh Engineering Graduates (B.E./B.Tech.) and Diploma holders for filling up Total 229 vacancies in Apprentices in various disciplines for a period of One year, as per Apprentices Act (Amended) 1986. Eligible Engineering and Diploma candidates apply online on or before 16th November 2013.

Age Limit: 14-25 Years, Age relaxation 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Additional 10 years for physically handicapped persons. Additional 5 years for wards of BHEL employee (spouse/son/daughter).

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate Apprentices - Bachelor's Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Engineering for Graduate Apprentice in the relevant branch with Minimum aggregate of 70% marks for GEN/OBC and 60% marks for SC/ST from Institute / University recognized by AICTE.

Technician Apprentices - Diploma in Engineering/ Office Management for Technician Apprentices in the relevant branch from Institute / University recognized by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification : Matric/SSC with National Treade Certificat (NTC) and national Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in he respective trades of Machinist/Turner/Fitter/Blacksmith/Welder/Carpenter/Electrician with not less than 60% marks for General and OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates, in both NTC and NAC. working knowledge of Telgu is desirable.

Age limit: 27 years as on 01.09.2013. ( age relaxation will be applicable as per rule)

Application fee: A non refundable examination fee of Rs.125/- is payable by the General/OBC candidates.

Emoluments: Candidates joining BHEL as Engineer Trainees will undergo training for one year.  During training, basic pay of Rs.20600/- in the scale of pay of Rs.20600-46500/- will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers in the scale of pay of Rs.24900-50500/- with a basic pay of Rs.24900/-.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical
/Electrical /Electronics Engineering. [OR] Engineering Degrees obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.

Application Fee: GEN/OBC candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 100/- as processing fee (non-refundable).

How To Apply: Candidates who wish to apply for Engineer Trainee position in BHEL for the year 2013-14 will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering - 2013  (GATE-2013). GATE-2013 Registration No. is required for submission of  online application to BHEL.
