Exam Name: Fourth APTET 2013

Eligibility: The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, September 2013 should be in  possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II). The candidates who are pursuing final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, and/or the Language Pandit Training Courses, during the academic year 2012-2013 can also appear for the AP TET September, 2013.

Exam Date & Time: (1st September 2013)

Paper-I : 9.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)

Paper-II : 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)

Pass Criteria: OC - 60% Marks and above; BC - 50% Marks and above; SC - 40% Marks and above; ST - 40% Marks and above; Differently abled (PH) - 40% Marks and above.

1. Special Education Teachers (SET)

Qualification : ( i) Graduate with B.Ed. 2. Librarian

Qualification : (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science from a recognized university/institute or equivalent. (iii) Experience of two years in a Library/ Computerization of a library or one year certificate in Computer application from a recognized institute or equivalent.

Age Limit : 30 years. (Age relaxation will be given as per note regarding age relaxation).

3. Assistant Teacher (Nursery)

No. of Posts : 445 Posts (UR – 221 ; OBC – 123 ; SC – 66 ; ST – 35) – out of which PH/OH – 07 & PH/VH – 06 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800/- + G.P. Rs.4200/-

Qualification : : (i) Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) Certificate OR intermediate OR its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized board/ university. 2. Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education Programme of a duration of not less than two years OR B. Ed (Nursery) from a recognized institute. 3. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.

4. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

No. of Posts : 381 Posts (UR – 193 ; OBC – 101 ; SC – 56 ; ST – 31) – out of which PH/OH – 06 & PH/VH – 05

5. Staff Nurse

Pay SCale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

Qualification :  i) Matriculation or its equivalent. 2) ‘A’ Grade certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution. ii) Certificate in Midwifery. iv) Should be able to speak Hindustani fluently.

6. Nurse ‘ A ‘ Grade in MCD

No. of Posts : 225 Posts (UR – 116 ; OBC – 60 ; SC – 33 ; ST – 16) – out of which PH/OL – 07 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800+Grade Pay-Rs. 4600/-

Qualification : a) Matric pass from a recognized university/board or equivalent b) ‘A’ Grade Nurse & Midwife from a recognized institute c) Registered with Nursing Council as ‘A’ grade Nurse & Midwife.

7. Nurse ‘ A ‘ Grade in Municipal Council

No. of Posts : 26 Posts (OBC – 17 ; SC – 05 ; ST – 04)

Pay Scale : Rs.10900-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4000/-

Qualification : i) Matric from recognized institution or equivalent ii) Diploma in GeneralNursing from recognized institution iii) Candidate must be registered with recognized Nurses Registration council.

Age Limit : 18-32 years (Age relaxation will be given as per note regarding age relaxation)

8. Junior Social Education Teacher (Female)

No. of Posts : 10 Posts (UR – 06 ; OBC – 01 ; SC – 02 ; ST – 01) Out of which PH/OH – 04 & PH/HH – 05)

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200+Grade Pay-Rs. 2400/-

Qualification : i) Matriculation or its equivalent from any University / Board. ii) One year Diploma course from ITI or any recognized institute in various Trade i.e. C/ Tailoring Machine Embroidery and Hand Embroidery, Fruit Preservation, Art & Craft, Dress Designing, Beautification etc. for (Female candidates). iii) Preference may be given to one year certificate course from Social Education Department of NDMC.

Age Limit :  18-40 years. (for Female) (Age relaxation will be given as per note regarding age relaxation).

Mode of Selection : DSSSB will conduct One Tier Examination (Objective Type/MCQ) of 02 hour duration. (for Complete syllabus and the pattern of Examination, refer the pdf ; link given below.

How to Apply : All applications will be received in the OMR form only and applications received through any other mode/form shall be summarily rejected. No document should be attached with the OMR application. The OMR application form should not be folded.
