Applications are invited from Unmarried Male and Female Marine Engineers                  

(Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine  

Engineering) for Shipboard Training as Junior Engineer

QUALIFICATION: 
Four year degree(Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine
Engineering)  from Directorate General of Shipping (DG ),and AICTE Approved Engineering
college

AGE LIMIT:  
Maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2013. Candidate must be born on or after 02.04.1985.
For  SC/ST candidate, on or after 02.04.1980. Age relaxation of two years for women candidates.

APPLICATION FEES:
Rs.1000/- for General (UR) & OBC candidate’s and no fees for SC & ST candidate’s.
Before filling  application form, candidates must deposit application fees only in the State Bank of
India, The Shipping Corporation of India ltd. Mumbai’s  below bank account (No Demand Draft) and
obtain JOURNAL NUMBER OF DEPOSIT FROM RESPECTIVE BANK  immediately after fees
deposited as it is MANDATORY for filling  application form.(All Banks  Public/Private Sector Banks
provide Journal number if requested to provide them.)
