Haldia Dock Complex, Kolkata Port Trust intends to engage Electrician, Technician (Cable Jointing), Executive (Admn.), Fire Engine Driver, Civil Engineer, Supervisor (Civil) on contract basis. The details are as follows :
Name of the Posts :
1. Electrician
Qualification : a) Must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination. b) Must possess National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician. c) Must have Workman’s Permit from the Directorate of Electricity
Experience : Must have 4 years experience in the trade of Electrician
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.11,100/- per month Consolidated.
Accommodation : The selected candidate will be provided with HDC accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of standard rent as applicable for the employees for the type of quarters allotted. Electricity charges for the said accommodation shall have to be borne by the candidate at actual.
2. Technician (Cable Jointing)
Qualification : a. Must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination. b) Must possess National Trade Certificate in trades of Electrician / Cable Jointing / Wireman. c) Must have Workman’s Permit for cable jointing upto 11 KV from the Directorate of Electricity. d) Must have knowledge of termination and straight through joints of PVC /PILC / XLPE and other cables. e) Must have knowledge of proper laying of cables and safety in electrical work.
Experience : Should have minimum 4 years of experience in similar job.
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : Age should not be below 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.12,000/- per month Consolidated
Accommodation : The selected candidate will be provided with HDC accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of standard rent as applicable for the employees for the type of quarters allotted. Electricity charges for the said accommodation shall have to be borne by the candidate at actual.
3. Executive (Admn.)
Qualification : Honours Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University or 1st Class Degree from a University which does not offer Honours Course.
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.25,000/- per month Consolidated
4. Fire Engine Driver
Qualification : (i) Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination. (ii) Must possess a Certificate of training in Fire Fighting from a recognised Institution / Centre. (iii) Must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence for at least 5 years. (iv) Must be able to maintain log book and other relevant records. (v) Must have sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipments, Appliances and maneuvering of Foam Crash Tender.
Experience : Must have at least 6 years experience in Fire Fighting work in any recognised Fire service, out of which at least 2 years experience in driving various Fire Appliances like Crash Tender & Jeep Fire Tender.
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.11,000/- per month Consolidated
Accommodation : The selected candidate will be provided with HDC accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of standard rent as applicable for the employees for the type of quarters allotted. Electricity charges for the said accommodation shall have to be borne by the candidate at actual.
5. Civil Engineer
Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of Infrastructure & Civic Facilities in a big project would be of advantage.
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.25,000/- per month Consolidated
Accommodation : The selected candidate will be provided with HDC accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of standard rent as applicable for the employees for the type of quarters allotted. Electricity charges for the said accommodation shall have to be borne by the candidate at actual.
6. Supervisor (Civil)
Qualification : a) Must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination. b) Must possess Diploma in L.C.E.
Experience : Should have atleast 5 years experience in Civil Engineering works.
Contract Period : Initially for 1 year ; extendable under mutual agreement.
Age Limit : 25 years as on September 01, 2012
Salary : Rs.16,000/- per month Consolidated
Last Date : 26th October 2012
Accommodation : The selected candidate will be provided with HDC accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of standard rent as applicable for the employees for the type of quarters allotted. Electricity charges for the said accommodation shall have to be borne by the candidate at actual.
