Selection Criteria : Selection will be based on the qualification and a written examination. There will be no interview. The merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the academic qualifications as well as the score obtained by the candidate in the written examination conducted by PUDA.

Age Limit : Candidate should be between 18 to 37 years of age as on 01.01.2013

IMPORTANT TIPS FOR PREPARE EXAMINATIONS


Examination Tips

1. Use your revision time effectively. Prepare a revision time table.

2. When is your energy level the highest. This is the time to tackle the difficult bits.

3. Do not postpone the difficult topics.

4. Attend to routine things like tidying up, at low energy times of the day.

5. Do not just read. Make notes. In fact summarizing and condensing notes focuses your mind.

6. Discuss topics, after having revised them, with your classmates.

7. Use diagrammatic representation where ever possible. You may find this easier to retain.

8. Take a 5 minutes break after every 40 minutes (Certainly after an hour!).

9. Take a longer break after every 3 hours of study.

10 Eat well.

11 Play some game when you find time. This helps you relax.

12 Do your best during the revision.

13 On the examination day, do not worry, even if you feel that you remember nothing! Give it your best shot, you will be able to recall once the questions are in front of you.

14 Answer all questions. Ensure that you plan your time well during the examination.

Educational Qualifications: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. [OR] A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to engage Direct Sales Executives for various offices of the Corporation purely on a contract basis for a period of three years only under the jurisdiction of Central / East Central / East / North Central / North/ South Central / South / West Zones.

TAMILNADU MERCANTILE BANK (TMB) RECRUITMENT FOR CLERICAL POSTS


Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) issued notification for recruitment of Clerks. Interested eligible candidates can apply online till 20 December 2012. 

Vacancy Details:
Name of the Post: Clerks
Age Limit (as on 30 September 2012):
Below 24 years (for Graduates: born on or after 1 October 1988);
Below 26 years (for Post Graduates: born on or after 1 October 1986).
(Age relaxed by 2 years for MBC / BC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates).

Educational Qualification: 
Graduate (Arts/Commerce/Science) with minimum of 50% marks or Post Graduate from a recognized University or Engineering Graduate with 55% marks from a recognized University with knowledge in Computer Operations.

[Graduates from Open University and Correspondence courses are not eligible.]


Important Dates:
Last Date for Online Registration: 20 December 2012
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 5 days from the Date of filling the online application form but not later than 25 December 2012.

Application Fees: General / OBC candidates need to pay Rs.300 (Rs.150 for SC/ST Candidates) as application fee through a crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd” and payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin or Tirunelveli.

Selection Procedure: Final selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Online Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates would be short listed for a personal interview in order of merit on the basis of their performance in the Online Test.
The objective type Online Exam will be held at Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Tirunelveli, Trichy & Thoothukudi centers.
Eligible candidates will be communicated individually by post / email with details -- Date, Time and Venue -- of Online Test / Personal Interview to be attended.
Probation: Selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of one year. They will be posted anywhere in India.

Remuneration / Emoluments: Selected candidates would be fixed in the pay scale 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/2-20100 with applicable DA.
The emoluments during the period of probation will be Basic Pay of Rs.8000 plus applicable DA etc. At present, total emoluments is Rs.15000 per month (approximately).
