Eligibility Criteria for recruitment of Specialist Officer in Union Bank of India


Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university and specialization in the concerned field.
Essential Qualification: Candidates applying for the post from 7 to 12 must possess a valid IBPS Score Card of Common Written Examination.

Age Limit (as on 1 December 2011): Maximum 35 years (Maximum 43 years for Assistant General Manager (IT); Maximum 40 years for Credit Officer MMGS III)


Selection Procedure for recruitment of Specialist Officer in Union Bank of India: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant General Manager (IT) will be selected through a Psychometric test &/or Group Discussion & / or Personal Interview.


For the posts from 7 to 12: Depending upon the number of candidates only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks under Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS for Specialist Officer and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Psychometric test &/or Group Discussion & / or Personal Interview.

For the posts from 2 to 6 and 11: Candidates will be selected through a Written Exam &/ or Psychometric test &/ or Group Discussion &/ or Personal Interview.

The final selection would be on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview and strictly in the order of Merit.
