wbsscWest Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) Recruitment Advertisement of total 3050 vacancies in Group C posts: Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Assistant in West Bengal state filling up in the Regional and District Offices of various departments. Eligible candidates apply for Group C posts on or before 13th September 2013. WBSSC will hold Group C Open Competitive Examination for selection of LDC / Assistants.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. 
2. Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer Operation with the ability of typing on Computer at the speed of 35 W.P.M. ( English) and 25 W.P.M. (Bengali) from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 months.

Open Competitive Examination Details: Part I and Part II

Part - I: English (30 marks),General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks). The duration of Part-I Examination shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Page - 11: Group-A - English and Group-B – Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali carrying 50 marks each for Group – ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. and the duration of Part-II Examination shall be 1 hour.

Examination Fee:  Rs.200/- + Processing fee Rs.20/- for All categories (except Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities (of 40% and above only)); Only Processing Fee Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
